yeh, today was incredibly poor in the weather department...cold AND rainy. and mr 'oh-it-looks-like-good-weather-today' got drenched in his t-shirt. smart-O.

other than that..hmm..today i get to sleep EARLY! for once in AGESS.
also izzat reckons i should get a tagbox, but i think LJ doesnt support it. might have to switch to blogspot! i actually have a blogspot project wich was created during times of immense boredom and fuelled by alcohol accompanied by a need to speak out for some of the bros out there..but hmm, lets  NOT say what it is, or where. in fact, ill delete it right now, so the only two people that know of it (well the other probably forgot already) will never tell.

anyway, since ill be there, ill open an account, but continue to keep blogging here for now.

oh, and tomorrow is the day that may cause some upset in this current peace i have now.."not quite out of the woods yet, my boy, we're just in the eye of the tornado..."

oops forgot to say yesterday that i ate a THAI RESTAURANT and the food was AWESOME!!! and i even forgot so badly, that i didnt tell Mel on the phone! so bad though, i couldnt read the thai anymore..had to read the english menu..
anyway, this so some serious deterioration, considering this the guy who read a thai nametag of a foreign cadet during the old NCC days, surprising the fella.

today was ok. bio lab was..uh..entertaining..the antics of Kia, Yvette and myself endlessly entertain ourselves. this si going to be some FUN assignment. talk about group dynamics lol..
biol report was handed in today..Euge helped Angie n myself find a place on campus to print! during the busy lunch break too! good feat! and good luck to both of us on the biol report..many late night's efforts.

will say more later. fetch dad to airport this morning at 6am, not helping my 3am end time last night/this morining! so yeh. home alone, and now off to concoct some awesome meal that would befit a 6 star hotels top restaurant. XD

well theres biol done..just need to prin it now..
phys test tmr,..havnt studied whatsoever..

and the whole 'havent climbed for 3 weeks' thing is starting to take a toll. theres only so much enjoyment you can get out of pure training + runs. i need to get a free weekend and call daniel up. go DWS in winter i DONT CARE.

other than that, ill see how i survive tmr. blah. waking early to fetch dad to airport. sending emerald to the hospital for surgery..and THEN, only THEN does the day start. b4 that im zombie-fied and NOT really awake.

so damn annoying. i need a break. a weekend, a day, a couple hours in a climbing gym. just.. a break. and a nice, early night.

well considering the 3am's ive done last couple days, this 130am is pretty good/..

oh and HD didnt give Mel the t-shirt... but he did give the chocs. WTH rightt i put it all in ONE BAG, how confusing can it get. argh. oh well..watever then. I DONT understand wat he was thinking. >,<. blah. forget it.

ok, scrap that 4am shindig. woke at like 12 noon today..it was sooo bad. massive headache. ok so we hop down to riverton forum, lunching with Junie and Auntie Catherine (june's mom). probably sed this b4 but ive known aunty Catherine all my life, literally, and June aswel, cos shes born like around half a month b4 me and my mom and auntie catherine are old friends so yeh. they moved from singapore to china to perth, in the time i stayed on in singapore, then came to perth whilest they were still in china. pretty awesome how we turned outt o be in the same place in the end.

anywho, lunchin', then go for a good run. it would be about..6-7 kms that one..but a stop in the midway (by the river) to do the usual core strength training, plus chin ups, lock offs and sit ups. nothing special.

back home, dinner, then on to both assignments...geology witht teh team on MSN (how cool), and biol on the side kinda thing. still not done. well i guess gotta get cracking on it now. serious this time.

there goes a perfectly good day. woke, didnt do biol report. brekki-ed, watched motor racing. went to work. came back, watched a movie.

there goes saturday. BIOL STILL NOT DONE!! do an overnighter tonight, i think,,..

well now that the headache is gone, lets share funnies for yesterday and today..

firstly, theres the always classic greeting between me and Andrew when we meet, most of the times just outside either chem lab or biol lab. it would go like this - " (overenthusiastically, of course..) SO, ANDREWW.... are you READY for another (insert HUGE AMOUNTS OF SARCASM HERE-ON) EXCITING EPISODE OF BIOLOGY(or chemistry..) LAB?!?! "

secondly, what happened in chem yesterday. Yvette spilt her asprin solution on the steam bath,(she still claims it was 'because the flask "lost its balance" '..(yea Yvette, like it was drunk or something lol..)). and since it WAS a 30minute wait for us at the steam bath, waiting for the asprin to dissolve, she went and got her small metal spatula out and decided to try to scrape off some of her asprin crystals that had now formed on the steam bath itself. this was all hilarious.. but the best part was the words she uttered whilest intently scraping the crystals off the steam bath - " this is the ULTIMATE example of 'kiasu-ism' ".. 

OMG i havent heard that word for AGESSS..even when i WAS back in singapore. HAHA..made the chem lab that much more bearable.

talking about chem labs, andrew has had the POOREST luck with chem labs. the apparati (i thinik thats the plural for apparatus..isnt it??) hates him or something. for the previous few labs, as far as i can remember, he has got poor yield for his products, or they were off colour (purple instead of white, in one case..) or stuff spills on his shoe that stains so badly....or the best one, 2 weeks ago i think. his condenser BLEW the waterpipe, and sprayed water EVERYWHERE!!! it was so hilarious..i looked up, just to catch andrew JUSTT looking up to appreciate the scenario, and watch his face change expression as he came to terms with it, then maybe 5, 6 seconds later, realise he should TURN THE WATER TAP OFF. hahahahaa, best EVER. should have videoed that. lickily none of the setups were wrecked (we were heating organic phase liquids, so water kinda wrecks it..)

anyway. good times, they were. ahh. oh yea, made REALLY good dough today. like not money wise, but like...dough, the stuff with flour in it. yea. dont say its wierd or anything, but it was REALLY good. it wasnt sticky whatsoever, cold, rather light, and rolled really well. 
eugene did a really 'good one' witht the thins - bcos when i looked int her mix basin, i saw a runny looking mix that looked like finely blended, mono-chromatic (as in, one coloured) puke. yes, runny, yet with a hint of lumpyness.
heres the convo - 

me-"eugene, that doesnt look right...what did you put in it? how much water?
euge-"yea, it was 3.3 l, cold.."(this is correct).
me - "yea?...hmm..it looks wrong hey..how much flour??"
euge" yea i did 3 batches of 1000g and 1 batch of 250g.. so i dont see whats wrong.."
me -thinks..a whole batch takes 12.5kg, a half batch would be 6.25kg. hes put in 3.25kg..AHHHH theres your problem..
me - "Yea, um, isnt half batch 6.25kg? you kinda did 3.25kg..ure short 3.."
euge-"oh yea..! ah! its these scales messing me up...(goes on to blame everything else in sight..lol)
me - stops the mixer.. "haha..nice one..lucky i caught it.."

all have a good laugh. well, it was nervous laughter until the dough started looking normal again..instead of powdery puke.

robert has an even better one - hes so random. i was just standing there for a split second, hes making pizzas. he must have just finished a 10 pizza order or something  -he turns around, and in a rather triumphant tone, proclaims "YESS! 10 points to me! now im just on negative 9 thousand 9 hundred and thirty seven!" or something like that. COMPLETELY caught me off guard. i was like stunned for 5 seconds, then broke out in laughter..

well i guess thats all for now. ah, Caitlin's B'day is this coming 15th..(15 on the 15th!!). i contributed 10 bucks to an unknown pool of money and have NO IDEA what the prezzie is gonna be. i hope i get to see it before it gets given! Bec's getting the prezzie..for the best i guess, i had NO idea whatsoever what to get her anyway..

Got a massively brain busting headache from chemistry lab today...omg its sooo bad. well we finished early for once (1630hrs!!) but DAMN this is some payback. me and Andrew were dissing chemistry in lab... (words used were..:" i hate chem soo much. if it was a person i would punch it in the gut. I bet it was bullied in school. damn chem!") so is this some sick way of retribution? damn this bio-organic body..subject to the effects of chemistry. the ULTIMATE IRONY?? we were manufacturing ASPRIN today....and it gave me a headache.oh LOL.

ill go catch some zZ's first b4 starting biol..i cant do much else. 

oh, man. this sucks.

omg. 2 AM. im %4*ked. eyes are going. skype +msn still going. not thinking much -  Brian's Brain is frieddd...

ok, i think ive finished my geology stuff..almost

tmr gonna hopefully start on biology. omg chem lab tomorrow. please..be kind. lenient. issit too much to ask for understanding?

im sure i wanted to say somethign here but cant think of it now. oh went with Lit for lunch. He tried to do my physics assignment and helped me abit..so yea. smart fella. good on 'im.
